Growing up in St Ives, the Cornish environment provided a constant source of inspiration. Drawing and painting has always been a way to express myself since childhood. I mainly use acrylic and mixed media to produce expressive and atmospheric seascape paintings that reflect the human emotion and the sea's rhythmic motion; exploring its sensuous nature, its simplicity and complexity. I paint intuitively, injecting it with my own sensitive response; interacting with the medium to connect with the ever-changing energy of the coast.
