I have worked with acrylic paint for the past 18 years and have run my own acrylic painting workshops. I also demonstrate with acrylics at art societies around the country.

I studied Fine Art at Buckinghamshire University and work as a full-time artist in Buckinghamshire and Cornwall. My land and seascapes are inspired by the Devon and Cornish coast , which I visit regularly.  Endlessly fascinated by the sea, its movement, the rocks and surrounding area, I often paint directly onto boards or canvas
on the beach or in the landscape.  I work quickly and intuitively trying to capture the energy and emotion of the place.  These pieces can vary from small studies to large paintings which are then finished off in the studio. The work is expressive, often with an abstract element.  I work mostly with acrylics and sometimes with oils.

I was a finalist for the British Art Prize in 2022, exhibiting in the Oxo Gallery, London. I demonstrated and exhibited at the Patchings Art Fair in 2024 and have work showing at the McNeill Gallery, Wiltshire.
