The National Acrylic Painters’ Association (NAPA) is a not-for-profit organisation run by artists for artists which, at its core, promotes and celebrates the incredibly versatile medium of acrylic paint.

 NAPA artists use acrylic paint in all its forms using a variety of styles, subjects and techniques. Their work can be seen on this website and in our annual exhibition which is held in various locations throughout the UK.

NAPA Members Exhibition 2025

The NAPA Members Exhibition 2025 is being held at Kennaway House in Sidmouth.

The exhibition is open between May 12th and May 22nd. Many of our members are exhibiting in our annual show, which has turned out to be an excellent display of new acrylic artworks. Please visit if you are in the area.

Lynda Kettle R.B.S.A judged this year’s NAPA annual exhibition and awarded the prizes

Lynda has painted from an early age and is now a professional artist living in Devon. She trained at Stourbridge Art School and then continued at Birmingham College of Art.

 As President Alwyn was unable to join us this year, we were delighted to welcome his daughter, Natalie, who attended the opening event.

June and Alwyn Crawshaw have published their commemorative book: 'The Book -I'm happy with that'. Our 60-year journey up the mountain with a brush. It is a personal memoir of their travels and experiences through a long career of running workshops and creating TV programmes, sharing their knowledge of techniques, media and materials and is packed with memories, illustrations and photographs and is a great read.
